More people are being successfully treated for cancer than at any other time in history, largely in part to early detection, clinical breakthroughs, advanced technology and dedicated health care professionals whose life's work is to fight cancer to the fullest.

St. Luke's Cancer Center is staffed by an exceptional team of cancer care professionals. Working with regional physicians and experienced cancer experts, St. Luke's Cancer Center is committed to ensuring patients receive the most current diagnostic and treatment options as close to home as possible. Our purpose is to provide excellent cancer care with compassion for patients and their families, as well as easy, convenient access to that care.

The St. Luke's Cancer Center treats all types of cancer, including:

St. Luke's Cancer Center at St. Luke's Hospital-Bethlehem Campus
The St. Luke's Cancer Center in Bethlehem is the flagship facility and is located at St. Luke's Hospital—Bethlehem Campus. This Cancer Center offers comprehensive oncology services in one easily accessible area of the hospital. The facility features an Infusion Center which operates six days a week, allowing patients more convenient hours for treatment and weekend access to their physicians. State-of-the-art radiation oncology services are also available. Patients and their families can access the Cancer Center from a dedicated entrance. Designated parking is provided for ease and convenience as well.

The Inpatient Oncology Unit is located at St. Luke's Hospital-Bethlehem Campus. The unit has 34 single bedrooms for inpatient care. Specially trained oncology nurses oversee care and treatment.

St. Luke's Cancer Center, 240 Cetronia Road, Allentown
A new St. Luke's Cancer Center opened in August 2007 at the Integrated Health Campus on Cetronia Road in South Whitehall Township. The facility provides convenient access to St. Luke's high quality cancer program for those living in Allentown and surrounding communities.

Patients requiring outpatient cancer treatments will be able to receive radiation therapy at this new location under the care of Advanced Radiation Oncology Associates. Patients may schedule consults and appointments with cancer experts, including fellowship-trained surgical oncologists, a gynecologic oncologist, urologists and a dedicated thoracic surgeon. Also, infusion services also will be available in the near future.

Cancer care, close to home
Cancer services also are provided at the other St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network locations. Physicians and staff from network hospitals work with the Cancer Center to offer their patients cancer care close to home, including the latest surgical techniques, infusion services, clinical trials and patient education and screenings.

University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network
As a member of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network, St. Luke's has access to the latest advances and world-renowned expertise of Penn cancer specialists. The Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania is one of a select group of cancer centers in the nation designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. St. Luke's physicians and staff meet regularly with Penn's experts to secure up-to-date information on cancer breakthroughs and treatments. St. Luke's link with the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network provides significant resources for second opinions and consultations to ensure that the cancer care provided by St. Luke's is the best available.
